Across more than 1,000 career victories, eight conference championships, four national championships, and five Hall of Fame inductions, his coaching philosophy has remained remarkably consistent: develop the person first, and performance follows.
After stepping away from coaching, Barry returned to Rider University for the 2026 season. His first team back captured both the MAAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships. It’s the first time in its history that the program accomplished both in the same year.
